Jewelry designer since 1997, Maria João Costa over the last twenty-five years worked as a freelancer for several companies / brands in the sector, thus had the opportunity to work with different market references in materials / production techniques.
Dividing your time between teaching Jewellery Design and creating collections, it thus responds to a need to show your own language in this area. Having developed a work with links to traditional goldsmithing, all its production is done in Portugal, respecting production methods and rules of Portuguese contrast.
From his vast experience is born the creation of these collections, where geometric elements blend with the fauna, the result of his numerous journeys and lived experiences.
